I specialize in helping adults develop the skills needed to cope with panic, social anxiety, obsessions and compulsions, trauma, depression, and ADHD. I use cognitive behavioral types of interventions, and encourage clients to explore meditative processes in learning to be more responsive and less reactive to stress.
I draw on 16 years of experience in a residential treatment center for children with behavior problems, 7 years of coaching youth league baseball, and 45 years of parenting and now grandparenting in helping clients develop firm, loving relationships in their families.
My experience also includes 15 years teaching at Furman University and 14 years teaching family medicine residents.
