I offer an opportunity to address multiple issues with an emphasis on the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. Trauma and emotional pain can lead to a sense of being stuck. This can feel like being stuck in responses to situations and events and people that maintain our pain and present obstacles to our growth and flourishing. A warm and trusting therapeutic relationship can create an opportunity to get unstuck. This can manifest as increased confidence and a feeling that you are more present in your life. It can foster self awareness and improvement in your relationship with yourself and others.
My focus is indivual therapy. I am certified in Gestalt Therapy and EMDR therapy. As a Gestalt therapist, I pay attention to mind/body experience and work relationally. I offer EMDR for treating trauma including complex and attachment based trauma. I have extensive experience in working with the LGBTQ+ community.
