I enjoy working with clients from all different backgrounds who are willing to make a change in their life. Counseling can be hard at times, yet very rewarding, and it is important to find the right counselor for you. I practice from a primarily Solution Focused background while including techniques from CBT, REBT, and Adlerian theory. I aim to bring honesty, authenticity, and reliability into each session.

Working in an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, individuals, couples, families and groups are encouraged to explore and confront the issues affecting their lives. We are licensed by the state of Oregon for both mental health and addiction services. We are covered by most insurance plans and have therapists/nurses on most managed care panels.

Abuse is something that affects a lot of people and in various different ways. It is something that can be hidden from the world and no one will know the pain the individual is going through. It is quiet and insidious, leaving lasting effects. It can creep up on you and make you feel alone in the world full of people. It can leave you feeling misunderstood, alone, and/or broken. There are ways to work through the trauma, safeguard yourself, and heal from parts of the abuse. You will rebuild yourself esteem, sense of self, and confidence in the process of healing.
