Therapy is a very personal journey and each individual is unique and has their own story to tell. I am here to listen to your story and guide you on your journey of self-discovery. My work is solution-focused, strength-based, empowering, motivating, and encouraging. I focus on what you can do rather than what you cannot. I embrace a diverse clientele (including transgender) and issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, loss & grief, as well as trauma.
While stress is inevitable and often feels out of control, the way we react to it, is in our control. In our sessions we focus on gaining control and restore optimum functioning to body, mind and spirit.
I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU and a Bachelor in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified in Hypnotherapy, Psycho-Kinesiology & EFT; currently study towards Certification in EMDR (completed Parts I & II), Aromatherapy, and CBT-I.
