Welcome! Congratulations on beginning therapy and taking a brave step toward creating the life you want to live! As your therapist, I will utilize integrated treatment approaches and "outside of the box" techniques to move at your pace and facilitate change to meet your goals. I strive to provide a caring environment and supportive emotional space in which to safely explore and heal personal issues. I am specialized in the treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, as well as trauma, grief and loss.
I have 10+ years' experience working in clinical settings on an inpatient and outpatient basis, with adolescents, adults, and families. I am certified as a high conflict divorce consultant, providing coaching, skills and tools that serve to decrease overall distress from narcissistic abuse, navigate divorce, and manage custody or co-parenting issues.
In addition to dual mental health and substance abuse licensure, I am certified to work with survivors of violence, trauma and torture through the University of Maryland. I hold a strong belief in continued education and pursuit of knowledge to benefit and expand the treatment process.
