I work with individual adults and elders to address anxiety, depression, and problems related to relationships, family, identity, and the social & cultural environment. Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to work through complex feelings, thoughts, and patterns of relating to others. Through collaboration, curiosity, and insight comes the possibility for relief from suffering.
You bring self-knowledge and experience; I draw from my education and clinical experience when I offer questions, reflections, and feedback. I have advanced training in psychodynamic and multicultural psychotherapy from the Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology/Boston Medical Center and Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA)/Harvard Medical School (HMS).
In addition to private practice, I am a part-time lecturer at CHA/HMS, and I am pursuing psychoanalytic training at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis.
