As a South African immigrant I love working with other's who question identity and meaning in life. My main goal is to empower you, finding your strengths, reducing negative thought cycles (anxiety, depression) and teaching you to untie your emotional knots and to live authentically with meaning. You will leave having better relationships with yourself, and others. Believe it or not we will do a lot of laughing while we work. I have trained in diverse settings (including fellowship at Boston University's Danielsen Institute).
My model works to teach you how to overcome the obstacles that stop you from being authentically yourself, finding meaning, and good relationships. Identity is a strong focus. I tailor my approach to suit your unique concerns, & use a collaborative style that includes, mindfulness, narrative therapy, meditation,positive psychology, CBT, & existential methods.
