My clients often come to me feeling worried, depressed, disconnected, or overwhelmed-- sometimes, after they've already been trying for years on their own. In our work together, we help you find relief, self-acceptance, positive change, and real growth by building on your unique strengths. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most valuable tools we have to help you feel centered, empowered, and strong. "We all procrastinate from time to time— that assignment isn’t that hard, the towels aren’t that dirty, the mail isn’t so urgent. Suddenly, it’s 9:30PM, and even though you used the day productively (reorganizing Tupperware and extra electronic cables), the one thing you needed to do didn’t get done. Procrastination isn’t about being lazy or mismanaging time; it’s a misunderstanding of internal motivations and anxieties. I can help you implement changes in your life to decrease avoidant (procrastinating) behaviors as well as the frustration and guilt that comes with it."

Is it really hard to remain organized despite your best efforts? Inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity are three common problems associated with ADHD, which affects about 5% of children and adults. It is much more serious than just having trouble concentrating.
