I specialize in Autism and ADHD, but can treat other diagnoses as well. My therapy approach is strengths-based, focusing on skill building and relationship development. Carly, my certified therapy dog, is also available to attend sessions. I offer video therapy sessions for those who would have difficulty coming to the office. I'm an Italian – Ghanaian Immigrant and I understand what its like to face uncertainty. I provide therapy for a variety of issues that you may be facing. The most prominent of these issues are depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. This does not mean I do not provide counseling for other issues or that those “other” issues are not as important. Here are a few examples of those “other” issues I have experience with: grief counseling, social skills education, substance abuse, parenting, domestic violence education/counseling and therapy related to chronic medical issues. In my practice, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When appropriate, I use other treatment modalities as well.
