Hi, Please allow me to introduce myself- my name is Dr. Wilhelmenia Howell, a Christian, graduate of Spelman College and Michigan State University. I am currently licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Georgia and am a Certified Mental Health Integrative Provider. I am Mrs. Courtney Oliver, a new Counselor at Lotus Nest Counseling. I have a strong passion for mental health with 8 and half years of mental health background and experience. I am college graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Masters in General Psychology at Capella University and a Certification as a Life Coach.

Cassie Avellaneda is a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC. Cassie’s professional career began in the public education system. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Warner University. She taught in the public-school system for several years. Cassie then received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from Webster University. Cassie has been a fully licensed clinician for almost 10 years in the state of Florida. In relocating to Georgia, she is now dually licensed in both Florida and Georgia.

I am passionate about empowering people to make positive changes in their lives. I recognize that people have the ability to change, but often lack the confidence or direction to do so. I do not believe there is a one-size fits all approach to therapy and I strive to develop genuine connections so that therapeutic services are personalized to the needs of each client.
