I work with people of all ages who experience common and complex circumstances including: depression, anxiety, burnout, the effects of traumatic circumstances (flashbacks, rumination, dissociation, avoidance, etc.), anger management skill development, codependency in relationships and establishing boundaries, ADHD and other neurodiverse thinking and social skill development for youth.

In my psychotherapy practice with adolescents, men, women and families the focus is typically on issues such as behavioral concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD and anger. I believe that everyone is entitled to be treated with respect and honesty and that therapy should start where the client is at. Additionally, each client has their own ways of gaining insight and implementing new patterns into their lives and will have their own pace at which they discover the strengths within themselves. I like to work with the client to discover what is most effective for them and go from there.

I like to work with families, including children of all ages. I also work with individual adults and occasional couples. I also like to work with military families. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and have even tried some of this therapy style with adolescents. I am also trained in perinatal mood disorders.
