Over the years I have developed strong Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques for adults and complimentary expressive arts therapy techniques for youth.
The need for compassion and joy are inherent parts of the human experience. Transitions and change are also a constant challenge to finding that positive relationship with life. I believe that psychotherapy should feel right on an intuitive level and ultimately guide someone towards their potential.
Often the way to resolve conflict and create change is through the safe distance of the frame of the arts but often it is language or playful interactions. I am one of those people who struggled to find out that my own sensitivity is actually a strength so I feel great pride when I help someone else find a strength in what they thought was a weakness.
