My intention in therapy is to meet the uniqueness of the individual and create a relationship and therapy that supports his or her distinct process. I am an integrative therapist and believe in empowering individuals from the inside out. I blend traditional talk-therapy with body-based interventions and skill-building. My work is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness, and yoga therapy. In this work, clients deepen their awareness of themselves, develop tools and skills, and become resourced by their own strengths and abilities.
I believe in an integrative approach to therapy, and am clinically interested in the mind-body connection. I incorporate the tools of mindfulness and body based strategies into my work. I work with clients to restore balance in their nervous system, promote steadiness of mind, develop emotion-regulation, and find greater peace and ease.
I have over 16 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in myriad mental health settings. I support families and neurodivergent adolescents with ADHD, autism, anxiety, OCD and with behavioral challenges. I offer pro bono spots, but they are currently full.
