I’m a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider, and certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that is particularly effective for trauma. With over 20 years of experience in different parts of the world, I’ve helped individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, and major life transitions.
Working with survivors of trauma and other stressful experiences shows that people are prone to internalizing their struggles and thinking there is something wrong with them, rather than realizing that something happened to them.
From the first contact to termination, I create a safe, non-judgmental, supportive space where clients can truly be themselves. Using techniques that relate to the body and the mind, I facilitate a relaxing therapeutic atmosphere where clients feel valued and get to appreciate the power of being the expert on their own lives.
