About
I founded Park West Wellness with the commitment to help people overcome life’s challenges, both big and small. Seeking therapy can be intimidating and my passion is to help make it easier by ensuring you feel comfortable, heard and accepted. I am dedicated to bringing empathy and warmth to my work. I am an experienced therapist who values creativity and individual expression. I believe therapy to be a collaborative effort, that can lead to a better self view and to obtaining more enjoyment - both individually and through one's relationships.
I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and families that need support in life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, coping with grief, and relationship issues. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and motivational Interviewing.
Reaching out and seeking support is not always easy but it is the first step towards feeling better. I am licensed in both the state of New York and North Carolina.
