I believe the role of a counselor is to help you integrate your experiences— both joy-filled and painful, expected and unforeseen— into an understanding of yourself as someone worthy of love and capable of meaningful impact in your world. I particularly enjoy working with those who would describe themselves as caretakers, perfectionists, people-pleasers, or compulsive "do-ers."
I work with individuals ages 18+ and offer both in-person and virtual sessions. I use a variety of techniques, primarily drawing on Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I love helping people meet themselves and others in a new way through the experience of therapy.
