Having been in practice for over 30 years I have found that connections are an important part of the helping process. I work with individuals, couples and families utilizing family history, current situational processes as well as personal strengths and coping skills to address issues of concern. I believe all individuals have the capacity to make changes in their lives and will work on helping each individual gain a better understanding of his/her needs and behaviors to attain those goals.
Sessions are held on a regular and consistent basis addressing issues presented and exploring causes and triggers as well as learning better coping skills in a warm and supportive environment.
I have been trained in a systems perspective and believe we are impacted by our personal history, culture and present environment as they impact our current functioning. Additionally, I am an EFT trained couples therapist.
