About
I take a serious approach to serious problems. Behaviors you've tried to stop, such as anger outbursts, self-criticism, and self-doubt, damage your life, work, and relationships. My therapy approach is collaborative, interactive, and intensive. As a partnership, we work to get to the root of the problem and give you relief as quickly as possible. We use your strengths to heal the broken parts and achieve the goals you identify, in an atmosphere of safety and acceptance in which you can be yourself without fear of shame, blame, or judgment. Take charge of your life -- contact me today!
I specialize in intensive, focused individual psychotherapy for anger issues, relationship problems, anxiety regulation, mood disorders, emotional regulation, self-management; Asperger's and ASD; trauma and abuse history; shame; and treatment of pain and unexplained medical symptoms. The objective is for you to start living your best life, intentionally.
If self-help hasn't worked, it may be time to go deeper. You, too, can be helped to overcome emotional and behavioral problems and get past traumatic experiences. I am an emotion-focused, results-oriented therapist who works together with you to be as effective as possible. As a Maryland-approved supervisor, I also train the therapists of tomorrow.
