My work is grounded in the belief that we heal in close, secure, and attuned relationships with others. Facing pain or any other feeling without feeling witnessed and seen often adds another level of pain, isolation, and even despair. I am here to provide a space of exploration, depth, and safety. If you are feeling overwhelmed with the prospect of change or struggling to imagine how things could ever be different, you are in the right place. Often, we need to 'borrow' from others what we cannot yet claim for ourselves. You can borrow my steadfast belief in change and hope until you have your own. I have more than enough.
I work from the framework that you do not have to suppress or avoid emotion and hard feelings in order to lead a meaningful and connected life. In fact, I believe the opposite – it is when we learn to notice, identify, and accept these parts of ourselves that we experience safety, security, connection, and compassion for self and for others.
It is the deepest privilege to walk alongside you as you discover the light and resiliency that has always been inside of you. My hope is that you feel accepted while challenged to grow in new and meaningful ways that deepen your life in a rich and beautiful way. I look forward to hearing from you!
