We are passionate about person-centered, customized counseling. We're licensed in MD, VA, DC; seeing clients virtually and in-person (based on counselor's availability). Do you have ADHD and are looking for a better way to work with it? Maybe you're in recovery or are concerned that your drinking or substance use is a problem, or you're struggling with low self-esteem; poor work/life balance; major life transitions; personality disorders or trauma. Some clinicians at our practice also see children, families and seniors.
We blend talk therapy, skills building, creative therapy modalities, and even a bit of “woo” - think free-writing, lyric-analysis, therapy card decks and writing and art. We provide individual, conjoint, family and group counseling, as well as mindfulness, Animal Assisted, EMDR, art therapies and process groups on ADHD, recovery, creativity, etc.
You'll learn to become your own advocate, increase self-esteem; set healthier boundaries; improve communication; slow yourself down so that your over-sized emotions don't get the better of you and learn healthy ways to process trauma with EMDR Therapy. And we will be with you as you learn to navigate life's transitions in healthier and happier ways.

Groups
CHADD Monthly Adult Peer Support for Adult ADHD
This is a monthly support group for adults with ADHD run through the Montgomery County, Maryland CHADD chapter. You can register through Meet Up. Meetings are typically the first Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 PM. Please register through meetup for each meeting. For any last minute connecting issues, please contact the group leader, Rachel Wills at 202.579.1144. Rachel runs this group as a volunteer who also has ADHD. It's not a therapy or process group. There is no fee to attend this group.
