Welcome and thank you for considering me as a potential provider. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an intrinsic passion for helping others. Growing up in a military family, I was exposed to diverse populations with varying levels of need. From a young age, I have felt compelled to serve others. I have experience serving children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of challenges, including mood symptoms, behavioral issues, trauma, relationship issues, and educational challenges.
I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities, including: CBT/Trauma-Focused CBT; DBT; motivational interviewing; interactive psychotherapy; expressive art therapy; therapeutic sand tray; solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy; and REBT. I have a special interest in assisting adolescents and young adults with developing adaptive coping skills.
I strive to provide client-centered, nonjudgmental and holistic therapy. In treatment, we focus on healing wounds from the past in order to move forward in the most effective way.
