It is my passion to help women rediscover themselves. Some of my areas of experience include complex trauma, substance abuse, mood disorders, relationships and life changes. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas.
I practice a trauma focused approach to women’s issues and combine compassion, empathy and directness in order to help you gain understanding of the childhood survival patterns that are no longer useful to you. Trauma is defined differently for every woman and we will work together to create the life you want.
I am skilled at helping clients learn to set boundaries, develop assertive communication skills, increase self-esteem and cope with feelings of depression/anxiety that often coincide with addictive behavior and/or maladaptive coping skills.
