I was honored to be named a Mom Approved Therapist for DFW Magazine the past 3 years. My priority is to create a safe and non judgmental environment where individuals may come to receive support and the tools needed to encourage positive change in their lives. I am a family practitioner who offers services to all ages. I support individuals with anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment, and stress. I enjoy working with college students as they navigate a whole new world of responsibility and autonomy. With 16 years experience as a counselor, I am comfortable providing a unique approach with each client to best fit their needs.
I am skilled in working with adults of all ages to help them find and use tools to improve their symptoms, communication, problem solving, and relationships utilizing dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. My experience with children and teens involves working within their developmental abilities and applying their unique interests.
