As humans, we are wired for connection. I believe that the key to long lasting change is a deeper connection to yourself, as well as, those around you. Self-awareness and support are the first steps in any growth process and through both directive and exploratory techniques, I will help you begin the journey to the healthier version of yourself.
In addition to my private practice work, I facilitate an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in the Uptown area of Dallas. Working with mood disorders and addiction over the last 10 years has reinforced my belief that with willingness, support and motivation; change can occur.
I focus on soothing depression, anxiety and adjusting to the new lifestyle that any change often requires. Maladaptive coping skills come in a variety of forms and it takes time to rewire our brains to implement healthy habits again.
