My passion is to help people recognize their inner strength so that they can reach their goals. I believe that by finding the intrinsic power that is within all of us we can experience renewed hope and motivation. I believe strongly in the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work with clients to become aware of this connection and learn how to take control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the process. I hold my perinatal mental health certification and enjoy working with clients from the initial desire to start a family, and the challenges that might bring, through the postpartum period.
I am an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider and provide ADHD assessments which include the FDA approved QbTest. I also use CBT, REBT, and motivational interviewing techniques to address issues such as depression and anxiety. I am a person centered therapist who works together with clients to meet their treatment goals.
I am a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service provider designation in the state of Tennessee. I am also have my perinatal mental health certification. I hold a BA in Psychology and a MS in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling both from the University of Memphis. I look forward to working with you on your journey toward personal growth.
