I Started working with Adolescents and Families in residential treatment, schools and hospitals. Two years in a Methadone Clinic provided an early glimpse into Opiate addiction. A mid-life descent into Alcoholism provided a very personal understanding of addiction and recovery. I know that recovery can occur both within and outside the AA model.
