Do you or a loved one want to change your relationship with substances? I work with individuals, couples and families who are struggling with addiction and substance use through a harm reduction framework. Through this framework I pay special attention to creating a non-judgmental relationship with clients along every part of their relationship with substance use, be that with the goal of moderation or abstinence.
My style is warm and caring while also remaining engaged and direct. I am both process and goal oriented and am profoundly committed to supporting people along their unique journeys. I practice by providing a therapeutic environment which allows people to be their full selves.
I believe that creating space for authentic connection between the client and therapist is a key element in improving relationships both with the self and others. It would be an honor and privilege to support you on your path.

Harm Reduction Group
If previous attempts at stopping substance use have failed or if you want to learn to manage your use rather than abstain, this is the group for you. We approach addiction as a biopsychosocial phenomenon and help our patients understand the biological, emotional, and behavioral factors underlying their drug use using evidence-based interventions such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapies. Power Over Addiction: A Harm Reduction Workbook for Changing Your Relationship with Drugs will be the curriculum for this group. $200 intake; $75 per group session
