I have years of experience working with addictions, depression, and teen issues. I am passionate about recovery and helping those in need find their own recovery. I work to help individuals let go of the old messages that are mean and belittling to themselves, and help replace them with compassion and kindness. Because, it's when we feel good about ourselves that we are able to treat ourselves well. Battling mental health issues is hard and having someone you feel safe with to explore the deep, dark parts of your soul is where the healing begins.
With 15 years experience working with teens and families, focusing on depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, eating and body issues, parent-child conflict, and addiction, my goal is to give teens a safe place to explore their emotions and their struggles, while giving them tools to effectively communicate.
I have a trauma informed certification in Equine Assisted therapy and believe in the power of joining with horses to help heal relationships, attachment wounds, and other related trauma.
