My clinical and research expertise includes the range of anxiety and stress-related disorders, especially PTSD, OCD, panic, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety. My approach is non-judgmental, compassionate, caring, and fundamentally science-based. I have extensive training and experience working with clients and their families across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and Veterans. I am also well-versed in delivering several gold-standard CBT and exposure-based treatments. I view meaningful connections and delivering evidence-based treatments as the most important factors that drive therapeutic change.
While foremost a psychotherapist, I am also a research assistant professor at UT-Austin, MUSC and the VA. I am licensed as an LPC, and as a clinical psychologist. I use CBT practices for treating the full range of anxiety, fear, obsessive-compulsive and stress-related disorders, as well as mood and substance use disorders.
Please reach out if you would like to get started making progress towards your goals, especially if you have been struggling on your own, or you have been disappointed with ineffective treatments. I provide free 15-min. initial consults and my goals are to point you towards the best possible treatments, even if that involves referral to another provider.

I treat the range of anxiety, traumatic stress, and obsessive compulsive disorders using first-line, evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, PE, CPT, EMDR, ERP, etc.). Initial visits involve assessment of your difficulties, and how to achieve and maintain gains in treatment, as well as after treatment. Most patients respond in the first few weeks, and a standard course is 10-12 weekly sessions.
