I believe identity and an understanding of life's roles are often at the heart of growth and development. Sometimes it’s difficult to move forward until we know who we are and what our role is in this world–especially when changes happen.
I offer services to those struggling with change, traumatic experiences, social anxiety, depression, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship conflicts, identity development and career disorientation. I also have a specific set of skills aimed at helping those of the pastoral, missionary, geek and gamer communities.
I operate from the standpoint that a counseling relationship should be easy, natural, and relaxed. I provide a low-key atmosphere in which you have the freedom to simply be yourself. The Hero's Journey
This interactive teen group setting utilizes Therapeutically Applied Role Playing Games (TARPGs) as a basis for therapy. If you struggle with self-esteem, social anxiety, assertiveness, or would like to develop your personality/identity expression, and happen to enjoy games and stories with high fantasy settings, this therapy group is for you! Combining the power of imagination with the fun of tabletop gaming, you can actively work on developing who you are while simply having a good time. See you soon!
