To those who know me best, I am considered a genuine “encourager” of people, compassionate yet direct. You don't have to journey through life alone. I have graduate degrees in both theology and counseling with over 20 years of experience. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds in a strengths-based way that infuses hope. I integrate a variety of relational and experiential approaches to best meet your needs and will use faith based counseling for those interested.
I effectively use CBT, Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy. My systems’ training as a state certified family-based therapist will help you identify patterns in your relationships that will give you new tools for change. I provide helpful psychoeducation and assertiveness training to strengthen your interpersonal skills.
My experiences include but are not limited to working with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, addiction (substance abuse and sexual), child, parent and family relational issues and couple/marriage conflict.
