Welcome and thank you for taking time to read my profile. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years experience working with people struggling with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to social/emotional distress, developmental delays, learning disabilities, as well as issues related to chronic mental illness. Although I consider myself to be an eclectic, my primary therapeutic modalities are Client-Centered Therapy and CBT infused with the psycho-educational component of DBT focusing on Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
I actively listen to what my clients have to say, meet and accept them for who they are and where they are in their journey, and walk with, support and guide them as they move toward healing and personal growth. I've been described as being empathetic, understanding and patient.
