The ideal client for me is someone who understands and admits there are areas of their life that need further evaluation and a yearning for information and knowledge of how to better their situation. With me, clients will begin to understand their situations from different perspectives, delve into the various emotions that arise, and are open to being challenged in the most respectful and compassionate way. Working to understand their situation, their emotions, and identifying what they have control of is one of many steps needed to improve symptoms, confidence, growth, and outlook. Together, we got this!
My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where the client can become their authentic and genuine self. The therapy process is a partnership between therapist and client. Understanding and expressing emotions is paramount in the therapy process and can be best accessed when there is a strong sense of belonging, mutual respect, understanding and growth.
Now to give you the "real" me: I believe I am genuine and authentic and am a true, down to earth person. I live the life: married, working parent, youth coach, etc. Working with kids all the way to adults, I have always felt I could connect with anyone, regardless of the situation.
