A journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step and sometimes the biggest step is asking for help. My name is Adam Dubay. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have been in the mental health field for more than 20 years and in private practice for over 15 years. I have extensive professional training and experience in trauma treatment, and employ a wide variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients heal from the traumatic events that have occurred, reintegrate the mind-body connection, gain access to their inner resources and become better skilled at self-care.
I also treat other disorders and issues that disrupt everyday functioning, including anxiety and depression. I work with others who want to overcome issues they know are holding them back from specific life goals including but not limited to life transitions, stress, and negative belief. I also work with athletes trying to develop a more competitive edge.
My ultimate goal is to facilitate change and help you meet (and exceed) your personal growth goals. We work together as a team to help you mange negative beliefs, anxiety, depression and develop skills to manage ongoing life stressors, and develop a quieter, more focused mind body connection.
