Everyone struggles. We fight to get thru stress & problems. You may be there now or feel like it will happen. Like the rest of us, you may not let others in or show your emotional pain, but try to do the best you can to hold on daily. So there's nothing wrong with working on your own, yet it helps to let others in to unload the burden & pain you carry. Many of us fear to share our private pain, hurt feelings, or concerns stirring us emotionally. Anxiety is a normal part of talking to a therapist about your challenges. My goal is not to judge you but to aid you in your process of recovering to a balanced & healthy mind to live fully.
My primary area of focus is on trauma, which can be old and or new tragic events that continue to affect you as a person, your family, and your life. The goal is to first listen with the plan of knowing you, learn new skills to live again, improve your daily life, feel positive feelings again reduce negative feelings of anxiety, anger, guilt, & shame.
The goal of therapy is to help nurture healthy change with you in mind by learning about you as a person & your emotional needs. It is a big scary step to let another "person in" to your suffering & mental space, but together we can try to find a clear path.
