Children/ teens and their parents are experiencing anxiety at an all time high level. We have developed a new program that treats both parties with a structured and successful approach. We will teach your children about their anxiety, why it occurs, how they can manage it and how they can succeed at home and school. The parents are taught how to manage their child's anxiety and not inadvertently reinforce it. Many parents feel helpless as they watch their child become more and more anxious, let us help you learn how to not only manage the anxiety, but help your family thrive in these difficult times.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, offering individual, couple, & family counseling. I strive to provide a relaxed atmosphere so my clients feel comfortable sharing about themselves. I like to learn about my client’s life, not just the traumas or troubles, but all of the good, their strengths & supports. I believe the client is the expert on themselves & they are always an integral part of directing the treatment strategies & goals.

I specialize in treating adolescents, couples, women's issues, anxiety and grief/loss issues. I am trained in family systems theory using a psychodynamic approach for assessments. I have found much success using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based treatment models.

Unfortunately, currently I am not accepting new clients (I do have a waitlist). I work with individuals who are experiencing life challenges, mood disorders, struggles in interpersonal relationships and survivors of traumatic events. I encourage my clients to be active participants in the therapy process and support them as they accomplish their therapeutic goals. I offer a therapeutic environment where clients learn to relax, feel safe, and then peel off the layers of a problem to become aware of the answers each client seeks. My specialties include stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, women's issues, academic problems, and chronic/health concerns. Together, we will examine how your thoughts, feelings, behaviors/actions, bodily sensations, and internal images affect the way you respond to others and within yourself (e.g., inner voice).
