My name is Jen Bauer and I have spent many years helping adults, adolescents and their families work through challenging situations. I offer counseling services in a relaxed setting in the Lake Norman area. My role as a therapist is to assist client's with managing their depression, anxiety and other mood disorders in a healthy way. I primarily work with adolescents and their families and help teens manage their anxiety, depression, or other mood disorder symptoms. I utilize evidence based practice techniques to allow client's to work through their issues. I also work individually with adults who are struggling with their symptoms and daily stress.
I worked in a hospital setting for a number of years which allowed me to help those arguably at their worst. This valuable experience brings a unique skill as a therapist working in an outpatient setting as it allows me to help prevent the need for hospitalization unless absolutely necessary.
