We are an outpatient mental health practice in Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg, Daleville, and Floyd, Virginia, dedicated to helping patients overcome emotional problems using counseling techniques that promote more rapid recovery than traditional non-directive therapy. Everyone goes through challenging situations, and while you may have successfully navigated through other difficulties you’ve faced, there’s nothing wrong with seeking out extra support when needed. Therapy provides long-lasting benefits and support, giving you the tools you need to avoid triggers, re-direct damaging patterns, and overcome whatever challenges you face.
ABT Counseling was initially built on the ideas of solution-focused therapy: a practical, action-oriented approach to solving emotional and behavioral problems. Solution-focused therapy emphasizes people’s strengths and inner resources, bypasses a lot of analysis, and gives people concrete ways of changing their actions and their points of view.
Are you ready to make a change in your life or relationship? We can meet to discuss your goals in a safe, non-judgmental environment. To set up your first appointment, call our main office, email us, or submit a contact form on our website. Please have insurance information available, as your insurance may cover both in-person and telehealth appointments.
