Life can be challenging and overwhelming at times. I create a safe and affirming space. I believe in using a strength-based approach to assist you in overcoming challenging thoughts, feelings and actions. I have years of experience as a psychotherapist working with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma-related symptoms. I know how difficult it can be to find a Black therapist who feels like a good fit! I have worked with marginalized populations who face struggles related to microaggressions, discrimination in the workplace, and various other trauma.
I offer virtual therapy. I have experience using evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I provide a safe and affirming space that allow my clients to feel safe processing emotions, trauma, and daily stressors.
