I enjoy helping people see themselves as a role in a story that makes sense and they are holding the pen. Everything makes sense in context, and once you understand that context you can better decide what to do next. Sometimes therapy is about healing a wound from the past. Sometimes therapy is about learning to be a better you. Sometimes therapy is about trying to fix a relationship, and sometimes therapy is about preparing to make a difficult decision. Many of us have been impacted by trauma and I use EMDR regularly to help clients process and heal.
I work with individuals, couples and families across the developmental and age spectrum. I bring the knowledge and experience of being an educator and principal to the therapy space to assist with parenting, attachment, along with learning or behavioral struggles in the school environment. I work with all relationships groups both family and romantic.
