Together we will explore your core issues and behaviors that are preventing you from finding greater enjoyment and meaning in life. I have come to see that anxiety is often at the heart of difficulties and much of our work will focus on helping you to overcome your specific obstacles to live more fully, freely, and enjoyably. I aim to foster a supportive and safe environment where you feel able to talk about your feelings and thoughts. Successful treatment relies on collaboration, connection, and trust, and I will tailor our sessions to meet your needs.
I provide psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to individuals and couples and have helped people struggling with a range of issues. My approach to therapy is primarily psychodynamic, which means that I will listen very carefully and work with you to understand patterns of relating to others as well as explore aspects of yourself that are not fully known.
I offer flexible hours and a sliding scale fee based on a variety of factors and I can provide documentation for out of network reimbursement. I believe that the bond between a therapist and the patient is one of the strongest predictors of a positive outcome. I welcome your call to see how we may work together.
