Hi my name is Abigail Fritz, and I am an Associate Professional Counselor. I currently work under the supervision and currently practicing under supervision of Katie McGrory Brown MS, LPC, RPT-S, CPCS. I work with a diverse range of clients, with a primary focus on children and adolescents. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent youth, particularly those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In addition to my work with younger clients, I also have experience supporting adults through life transitions, as well as challenges related to depression, anxiety, and women’s mental health.
My counseling approaches are Person-Centered therapy, Existentialist Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Mindfulness training when working with Adults. When working with Children/Adolescents I will lean more into my Child-Centered Play Therapy techniques. I am currently working towards my credential to become a Registered Play Therapist.
Therapy can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Whether you’re dealing with something specific or just trying to make sense of how you’re feeling, we’ll go at your pace. You don’t need to have all the answers to begin.
