I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor. I live in northeast Florida with my husband and our little dog, Libby. I graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with my Master's of Counseling in 2011. I have been counseling for over 15 years. Struggles are a normal part of life and we all face them differently. I am passionate about normalizing them, working through shame and helping others heal, be whole, and live a life of resilience and hope.
I desire to create a safe space for you to be open about what brings you to counseling. Our first session will be a gathering of information by asking direct questions and more of a "big picture" of whatever you would like to share with me about your life.
I have a physical vulnerability and have had my own struggles in life. This has produced great empathy for others who struggle and experience the hardships of life. It is with empathy, life experiences and the ability to listen well that are my greatest strengths.
