About
Entering summer, I am anticipating having a limited amount of openings weekday mornings and early afternoons. My approach to counseling is drawn from many different disciplines. I use empathic and deep listening to HEAR my clients. Of most importance to me is working with the client to achieve their goals within our counseling sessions- goals that we set together as we begin our work. I strive to meet the client "where they are" and move them forward to heal, change and grow in positive ways.
I am an LMHC who has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a wide variety of settings since 2009. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked at a private psychiatric facility. Within this setting, I was working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health diagnoses on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association and work very closely with others in the field to hone and maintain my skills and connection to the counseling community. I keep flexible office hours and am able to see clients during weekday mornings as well as two afternoons/evenings each week.
