Welcome, my name is Abie, and I’m a Licensed Counselor here at Deep Eddy Psychotherapy. I’m excited to connect with you and share a bit about myself and my approach. I’m here to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively navigate your unique experiences. I’ve always been passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges. Becoming a counselor was a natural path for me as I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
Throughout my years as an LPC I’ve worked with a variety of clients including teens, adults, couples and families, and addressed a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, grief, relational problems, life transitions, and past trauma.
Outside the therapy room you will usually find me spending time with my family – especially my nieces and nephew. I enjoy traveling to explore different parts of the world but also love spending time at home with my cat, Hermione, watching a fun comedy or drama. Connecting on a personal level is essential, and I look forward to getting to know you better!
