Hey there! I’m Vanessa, a mental health therapist with a creative, compassionate, and person-centered approach to healing. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale. My work is rooted in helping people reconnect with themselves after years of shrinking, surviving, people-pleasing, masking, or carrying the weight of expectations that no longer fit who they are.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, burnout, identity exploration, self-esteem struggles, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, and personal relationships.

You've spent years feeling like you were built differently from everyone around you, and maybe you're just now finding words for that. Whether you've recently received a diagnosis or arrived at your own understanding of yourself, you're looking for a space where that part of you is welcomed, not explained away. You might be navigating your identity, relationships, or simply exploring what a life that actually fits you looks like. You want a therapist who won't push you toward someone else's version of "better," and who can get creative alongside you.

The world is intense right now. You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, sad, angry, numb, or any number of feelings. All of you is welcome here. I'm here to support you however you are, exploring your world together and where you can go from here. I am a trauma-focused counselor, trained in EMDR therapy. I work with adults (18+), and I enjoy supporting the LGBTQIA2S+ community, especially gender expansive people because I am queer and genderfluid myself! I also support neurodivergent people; individuals struggling with anxiety or grief; and people going through personal, spiritual, vocational, and relational transitions.

What would it feel like to stop pretending you’re fine—and finally exhale?
You may look like you have it together while anxiety, overthinking, burnout, or an inner critic runs the show underneath. Maybe you’re navigating a relationship, identity, career stress, or another major life shift. You’re self-aware and can often explain the “why,” but still feel stuck in the same patterns. You’re ready for therapy that feels real, useful, and tailored to you.

Have you started to wonder if this is just how life will always feel? Has hope begun to feel risky? You’re not alone. I work with people navigating complex trauma (cPTSD), neurodivergence, high sensitivity, attachment wounds, anxiety, depression, and grief—especially when life has required masking, over-functioning, or adapting to environments that didn’t fully understand them. As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to helping clients reconnect with who they are beneath the expectations, survival strategies, and self-doubt.

Let's be honest-life can get heavy. Between the mental load of everyday responsibilities, the pressure to "keep it all together," and the quiet struggles no one else sees, it's easy to feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. Maybe you're navigating anxiety, burnout, or substance use. Maybe you're a mother who's trying to show up for everyone else but feels like you're disappearing in the process. Or maybe you're neurodivergent-or supporting someone who is-and you're just trying to find your rhythm in a world that doesn't always make space for difference. I want you to know you are not alone and you don't have to carry it all.
