With a career in mental health and social services that began at just 14 years old, Abeke brings over 18 years of hands-on experience to her work. She began as a youth counselor with the Red Cross Lock Key Kids safety program and has since served in diverse roles, including Program Director for Howard County Parks and Recreation in Columbia, MD - upporting youth and young adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and maladaptive behaviors

Abeke is the founder of All 1 Family, Inc., a nonprofit community mental health organization based in Atlanta, GA. The organization is dedicated to supporting the mental wellness of LGBTQ+ individuals—especially people of color—by offering a safe,
affirming space for clients to explore their identities and experiences with the support of culturally competent therapists. All 1 Family provides low-cost counseling services, including individual, family, group, and couples therapy. The clinicians—many of whom identify as LGBTQ+ or allies of color—bring lived experience and deep empathy to their work.
