About
I believe in helping a person overcome the problems and situations that are faced in life, not just treating a diagnosis. My philosophy is to provide a private, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where everyone can feel safe no matter age, beliefs, lifestyle, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, cultural background, or life circumstances. I provide a laid-back conversational approach and with children I will often use toys or games to help everyone feel comfortable. I also provide flexible appointment times, including evenings (Appointment times are subject to availability).
I have experience working with Children and Adolescents, and often utilize Play Therapy. I have experience in a broad range of childhood problems including: Autism, Asperger's, Behavioral Issues, Trauma/PTSD, Out of Home Placement, Depression, ADHD, School Issues, Anxiety, Sexual Orientation Issues, Problematic Sexual Behaviors, as well as many others.
I also have extensive experience with Adults in a variety of issues including: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma/PTSD, Parenting Skills, Career Issues, LGBTQ Issues, Couple/Marriage Problems, Polyamory, and many other concerns. At Aspiring Hearts Counseling we pride ourselves of trying to meet the needs of our clients. For a faster response, email me.
