I am Abe Clabby, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in helping individuals with relationship issues, workaholism, trauma, codependency, depression, anxiety, autism, and ADHD. My experience includes six years working with the Love Is Respect hotline and the National Domestic Violence Hotline, where I witnessed the full spectrum of challenges that families and relationships can face. I am also the author of Cool Off the Burnout: Feel Better at High-Pressure Jobs.
In my practice, I use motivational interviewing in a client-centered approach, empowering clients to rewrite their narratives and discover a deeper purpose in what they do. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients navigate obstacles and overcome feelings of being stuck.
I support clients in learning to care for others while also taking care of themselves. Through therapy, we can work together to address challenges in both work and personal relationships, uncovering new options and solutions.
