Being a human can be hard. While we have the capacity to experience great joy, the human experience also contains anxiety, depression, trauma, and other forms of pain. I work to foster a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore and process difficult experiences while also empowering clients with tools to navigate the inevitable ups and downs of life with more confidence and ease. I take a holistic and trauma-informed approach to counseling to help clients both gain self-understanding and achieve measurable symptom relief. I utilize EMDR and other evidence-based modalities to support clients in achieving their goals.
I have experience in supporting adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, life transitions, stress management, family and relational trauma, identity issues, and more. I have specialized experience in working with clients who have experienced sexual assault and sexual abuse.
I truly believe that anyone can benefit from counseling and that everybody deserves to heal. I am an LGBTQAI+ affirming counselor and strive to create a space where all clients feel welcomed, valued, and accepted.
